There will be an Agriculture and Forest Landowners Meeting on Tuesday, January 27th from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Powell Melvin Agricultural Service Center Auditorium located at 450 Smith Circle Drive in Elizabethtown. Lunch is sponsored by Bladen County Farm Bureau, Cape Fear Farm Credit, and Forest 2 Farm Land Clearing, LLC. Participating Agencies include Bladen Soil and Water Conservation, Bladen County Cooperative Extension, Bladen Voluntary Agriculture District, Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, NC Wildlife Resources Commission and Bladen County Forest Service.
These local agencies will give updates on the following: Tax Reevaluation and Present Use Value; Farm Bill; Voluntary Agricultural District; Forest Service; Corporate CURE; What Wildlife Resources Commission Can Do For You; Bladen County Cooperative Extension; Soil and Water Conservation and Natural Resources Conservation Service.
