Bladen County Commissioners will meet in regular session Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room at the courthouse.
The board will consider a resolution in support of displaying “In God We Trust” above the county seal in the commissioners meeting room.
Commissioners will be ask to consider adding a part-time employee to assist in duties related to Animal Control/Animal Shelter duties. In the past the county has used prison labor from the now closed North Carolina Department of Corrections at White Lake.
An appointment is expected to be made to the Division on Aging committee.
Commissioners are expected to schedule a Special Meeting for March 23 regarding Best Practices for a Board of Equalization and Review. Commissioners are expected to serve as a Board of Equalization and Review to hear appeals related to the current revaluation of property in the county.
A closed session is scheduled related to personnel.
The regular meeting is open to the public.
