Three Things to Know

Greetings! 3 things to know for Sunday, January 25

1. LoWanda Davis Productions will present “He Cheated! Why Me?” on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Elizabethtown Middle School. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and the show will start at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children’s tickets and VIP tickets are also available. The performance will be hosted by Palmer Williams Jr. from Tyler Perry’s “Love Thy Neighbor” and will feature Euclid Gray from “Meet the Browns.” For information, call (910) 988-4475 or (980) 200-7982, or visit LDproductionsLLC.com

2. It’s late notice, but if you’re inclined to fly to New York to watch Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski try to win his 1,000th career game today against St. John’s in Madison Square Garden, there were a pair of floor sideline tickets on Stubhub on Saturday night for $4,392.75 … that’s per ticket. Enjoy the trip.

3. It appears to be against the law in North Carolina to sing off key. Or, at least it seems it was at one time. Not sure if it’s still true, or if it ever was. But there’s your excuse to button your lip this morning in church. You can’t be caught breaking a law in church, can you?

And now you know.
