Kasson Page racked up a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds Saturday to lead West Bladen to a 49-28 Four County Conference jayvee boys basketball victory over visiting Wallace-Rose Hill.

Kasson Page also dished out 4 assists, blocked 2 shots and tossed in 5 points during a 16-9 Knight first quarter surge.

Kalvin Page, Kasson’s brother, and Gerardo Reyes threw in 4 points each in the first quarter, and sophomore John Bowen drained a 3-point shot for the winners in the period.

Kalvin Page pumped in 4 of his 10 points in the second quarter as the Knight lead grew to 24-15.

Kasson Page fired in 8 points, and teammate Jimmy Williams nailed a 3-point shot and added 3 more points to spark a 15-3 third quarter blitz that stretched the West Bladen lead to 39-18.

Kalvin Page also collected 6 steals, 6 assists and 3 rebounds. Bowen finished with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and a blocked shot. Williams totaled 8 points, 5 rebounds and a steal.

Traquan Smith added 5 points and 8 rebounds, and Reyes contributed 4 points, 6 rebounds and a steal.

Coach Taurius Baker’s Knights improved to 5-3 in the Four County and 9-5 overall. West Bladen will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Tuesday.
