It’s been more than six weeks since Hurricane Matthew brought flooding and wind damage to Bladen County. The storm which roared through Oct. 8 washed out several roads and N.C. Department of Transportation crews continue to make repairs.

As of Wednesday, Bladen County still has 11 road sections under repair, according to NCDOT.

Here is the list from NCDOT of Bladen County roads that are still damaged and not open to through traffic:

** N.C. 242, north of Elizabethtown, near State Road 1508 (LuLu Long Road) and State Road 1509 (Johnsontown Road) due to a washout caused by flooding. Detour signs are posted.

** N.C. 53 in White Oak near State Road 1318 (River Road) due to a washout caused by flooding. Detour signs are posted.

** Paul Brinson Road (State Road 1105), west of Dublin about a mile east of N.C. 131 due to a washout caused by flooding.

** Pleasant Creek Church Road (State Road 1107), south of Dublin near N.C. 410 due to a washout caused by flooding.

** Browns Creek Church Road (State Road 1154), west of Elizabethtown near State Road 1155 due to a washout caused by flooding.

** Cromartie Road (State Road 1155), west of Elizabethtown near N.C. 87 due to a washout caused by flooding.

** Forrest Drive (State Road 1176), southwest of Bladenboro near State Road 1178 due to washout caused by flooding.

** Burney Road, east of Tar Heel near Tar Heel Road (State Road 1316) due to a pipe failure caused by flooding.

** Owen Hill Road (State Road 1336), west of Elizabethtown near N.C. 87 due a washout caused by a dam failure.

** Old Rosindale Road (State Road 1708), south of Elizabethtown near Tram Road (State Road 1777) due to washout caused by flooding.

** Elkton Road (State Road 1710), south of Elizabethtown near Mercer Mill Brown Marsh Road (State Road 1700) due to washout caused by flooding.
