The North Carolina Primary Election is still about 3 months away, on March 15, however some states will hold a vote or caucus earlier. The Iowa caucus will be held on February 1, 2016 followed just over a week later by the New Hampshire primary election.
The caucuses in Iowa and the early elections that follow provide bragging rights for the winners and for some, a reason to ‘call off their campaign.’ Early winners are not guaranteed future success.
