“I hope that your time at West Bladen will be looked upon fondly, full of great memories. We are certainly going to miss you. It is hard to believe how quickly these four years have passed. As you look towards the future, know that you have been prepared academically and that you have grown in wisdom and maturity. May of you know exactly where you are headed and what you are going to do. Others of you may take longer to decide which career path you will choose, but please know that you can do whatever you want to do. You have been endowed with perseverance and determination. You possess a variety of skills and talents, so do not let anyone or anything deter you from the pursuit of your dreams and aspirations.” Mrs. Hester wrote in the program.

She continued, “We are proud of you and challenge you to continue on the path of excellence that began at the castle while you were a knight.”

Valedictorian Callie Lewis gave the farewell speech to her peers before the presentation of diplomas.

Along with Mrs. Hester, Mrs. Ursula Wooten, Assistant Principal, First Sergeant Christian Chisholm and Dr. Taylor assisted in the presentation of the diplomas.
