On 9/12/15 Elizabethtown Officers responded to Bladen County Hospital in reference to a stabbing that occurred in the area of 1204 Lewis St. in Elizabethtown.
The Victim Tracy Christopher Custis was assaulted while attempting to visit with a female at the residence of suspect Cleo Lewis. Lewis confronted Custis at the residence and an altercation ensued.
Custis was stabbed several times by the suspect and fled the scene. Custis was then transported to Bladen County Hospital by a passerby.
Suspect Cleo Lewis of Elizabethtown was charged with attempted second degree murder and is being held on a $75,000.00 secured bond. Lt. D. Cheshire investigated the incident.
