Elizabethtown police are looking for three men who were involved in the theft of several electronic items from Walmart in Elizabethtown on Saturday, Dec. 16.

The three men entered the store through the garden center about 10 a.m., according to Police Chief Tony Parrish. Two of the men went to the electronics department while the third man appeared to serve as a lookout.

One of the men, who appeared to be black and wore a black and yellow ball cap, black jacket and light colored pants based on surveillance images, placed three television sets in a shopping cart, according to Parrish. The second man, who was white and wore a black hoodie with the hood on his head, white T-shirt and black pants, put a Bluetooth speaker, DVD player and two monitors into the cart. The third man, who did not put anything in the cart, wore a blue shirt.

Once the shopping cart was full, the men left the store through the garden center and got into a blue or black SUV that was parked next to fertilizer pallets beside Golden Run Chinese Restaurant and drove off, Parrish said.

Anyone with information about the identity of the men or where they may be is asked to contact the Elizabethtown Police Department at 862-3125 or tparrish@elizabethtownnc.org
