1. Mother County Genealogical Society Meeting: Saturday, 12:30 p.m., Bladenboro Historical Society Building, 818 South Main Street, Bladenboro. Speaker: Amy Sanders, president of Harmony Hall Village, who will update preservation efforts at the site. Public is invited.
2. Dublin Peanut Festival Fish Fry: March 1, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Lu Mil General Store, 438 Suggs-Taylor Road, Elizabethtown. $25 all you can eat while supplies last. Whiting, fries, slaw hushpuppies. Information: 910-876-2288.
