Here are three things to know for Friday, Sept. 24:
1. High school football: West Bladen is scheduled to host Fairmont tonight. Kickoff at the Castle is set for 7:30 p.m. East Bladen has an open date. The Eagles are scheduled to host West Bladen on Tuesday.
2. Fall Craft Boutique: Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Trinity United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown. Vendor applications are being accepted. Contact church office for more information at 910-862-3706 or office@trinityetown.org.
3. Candy Donations: Bladen County Public Library branches have placed boxes for donation of individually pre-wrapped candy inside their entrances through Oct. 28 for use at upcoming community events. (READ MORE)
