Here are three things to know for Friday, Jan. 21:

1. Ice Storm Warning: Until noon Saturday. Significant icing expected. Periods of freezing rain will result in total ice accumulations ranging between 0.20 to 0.40 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. The freezing rain may mix with or change to a period of sleet and or snow prior to ending early Saturday morning.

2. Remote Learning: Bladen County Schools have transitioned to remote learning today because of expected inclement weather.

3. Golf course closed: Vineyard Golf at White Lake will be closed through Monday to protect the greens.
