Here are three things to know for Friday, Dec. 2:
1. Christmas Tree Lighting: Today, 6:30 p.m., Bladenboro Farmers Market. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookies, hot cocoa, letters to Santa mailbox.
2. High School Basketball: Today, Both Bladen County schools play at home. East Bladen hosts Whiteville and West Bladen is home against West Columbus. Junior varsity boys games start at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity girls game about 6 p.m. and varsity boys game about 7:30 p.m.
3. Saturday with Santa: Saturday, 3-6 p.m., The Arcade at Goldston’s, 1608 White Lake Drive, White Lake. Crafts, letters to and pictures with Santa, story time, lighting of the lake.
