Here are three things to know for Friday, Jan. 13:
1. High School Basketball: Today, East Bladen at home against Fairmont and West Bladen at Red Springs in Southeastern Athletic Conference games. Junior varsity boys start at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity girls about 6 p.m. and varsity boys about 7:30 p.m.
2. Barbeque Benefit: Saturday, 11 a.m.-until, Center Road Baptist Church, 2484 Center Road, Bladenboro. Proceeds will help with medical expenses for Jackson Self.
