2. High School Basketball: The Bladen Offroad Christmas Tournament opens Wednesday at West Bladen High School with four boys’ games. There also will be four games Thursday and Friday. Admission is $6 each day with no passes out. (READ MORE)

3: Bladen County Commissioners Meeting: Jan. 3, 6:30 p.m., Commissioners’ Room located on the lower level of the courthouse in Elizabethtown.
