1. East Bladen plays at North Lenoir today in the third round of the state 2-A baseball playoffs. First pitch in La Grange is scheduled for 7 p.m. The winner plays the winner between Kill Devil Hills First Flight and Randleman on Tuesday for the Eastern championship.
2. Juneteenth Celebration: Today, 11 a.m-3 p.m., in front of Mt. Zion AMEZ Church at 807 Martin Luther King Drive in Elizabethtown. Music, bounce houses, food and drinks and guest speakers.
