Here are three things to know for Sunday, Jan. 16:

1. Winter Weather Advisory: Today until 10 a.m. Freezing rain is expected through the morning hours, according to the National Weather Service. Some glazing on mainly elevated surfaces with total ice accumulation of less than one quarter of an inch. Bridges and overpasses may be briefly hazardous as well.

2. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade: Monday, 11 a.m., downtown Elizabethtown. Lineup begins at 9 a.m. at 805 West Broad Street, Elizabethtown.

3. Closings: Monday, Bladen County Schools and county-wide government offices for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
