1. Today’s weather: Heavy rain and breezy with wind gusts as high as 29 mph and a high around 80. Rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches. Tonight, showers likely, then a chance of thunderstorms with low around 72.

2. Community Fun Day: Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Elizabethtown Middle School. Presented by East Bladen graduate and Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Larrell Murchison. Special guests will include Alim McNeil of the Detroit Lions, James Smith Williams of the Washington Football Team and D.J. Wonnum of the Minnesota Vikings.

3. Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson: Sunday, 8:32 a.m., patriotic worship service at White Lake Christian Camp and Retreat Center.
