Here are three things to know for Thursday, Jan. 20:
1. Ice Storm Warning: Midnight Friday until noon Saturday. Significant icing expected. Periods of freezing rain will result in total ice accumulations ranging between 0.20 to 0.30 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. The freezing rain may mix with or change to a period of sleet and or snow prior to ending late Friday Night or early Saturday. A trace to less than one-quarter of an inch sleet and snow accumulation is possible. (WEATHER)
2. High School Basketball: Today, West Bladen varsity boys will host St. Pauls at 4:30 p.m. The East Bladen varsity girls will be home against Red Springs and will play after the JV boys game that begins at 4:30 p.m. The East Bladen at Clinton games scheduled Friday have been postponed. (SPORTS)
