Here are three things to know for Tuesday, Dec. 6:

1. High School Basketball: Today. Both Bladen County schools play at home. West Bladen hosts North Brunswick and East Bladen is home against South Columbus. Junior varsity boys games start at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity girls game about 6 p.m. and varsity boys game about 7:30 p.m.

2. Mother County Genealogical Society Meeting: Saturday, 12:30 p.m., Bladenboro Historical Building, 818 South Main Street.

3. Elizabethtown Optimist Club Christmas Tree Sale: Cape Fear Farmers Market, 106 Martin Luther King Drive, Elizabethtown.
