1. Both East Bladen and West Bladen will open their fall scrimmage schedule this evening at separate locations. Both teams will be on the same field Friday in the East Bladen Jamboree at East Bladen. 2. Dedicated Soulz will hold a benefit bike ride Saturday at Big Show Auto Finishes located at 2900 West Broad Street in Elizabethtown. Cost is $10 per rider and $5 per passenger. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and kickstands up at 10 a.m.
3. The Summer Sounds Concert Series continues Thursday at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market in Elizabethtown. Rivermist Band will be the featured musical guest. It’s free and begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. So, grab a partner and dance or socialize with friends.
