A 3-year old boy is missing from Craven County. A search was conducted overnight and is expected to resume on Wednesday morning.

A post on the Craven County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page reads, “Residents living in the area are asked to check storage sheds, vehicles, and their property for the child.”

The child, Casey Lynn Hathaway, is described as weighing approximately 25 pounds and standing 28 inches tall with blonde hair and brown eyes.  He was discovered missing from his grandmother’s house located on Toler Road near New Bern after he had been outside playing with other children and they all came inside but he did not return, according to the Missing Pieces Network.

Anyone who has any information about Casey is asked to call the Craven County Sheriff’s Office at 252-636-6620.
