A barbecue cook-off, classic cars and good music can be found in Elizabethtown on Saturday, November 16 at the Annual Pork and Beats festival.

Organizers of this free festival expect more than 20 cooks to compete in the barbecue cook-off. After the competition, barbecue plates will be available for purchase.

The festival starts at 10 AM on Saturday, November 16 at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market. Throughout the day, classic cars will be on display and food and craft vendors will be set up around the area. A full line-up of entertainment will be capped off with the music of Black Water Rhythm and Blue Band.

The event is hosted by the Town of Elizabethtown. Sponsors of the event include Bladen County Livestock Association, Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home, Camp Clearwater, Campbell Oil Company, Minuteman Food Mart, Cape Fear Farm Credit, Dickersons Pharmacy, Farm Bureau Insurance, Prestage Farms and the Town of White Lake.
