The annual Dublin Peanut Festival will provide plenty of family fun all day Saturday. Saturday night, drivers at Dublin Motor Speedway will be racing for lots more than peanuts.
The track announced earlier this week that a 40-lap Super Late Model race has been added to the program. The winner will get $5,000. The featured race comes three weeks before the Ultimate Super Late Model Series returns to the 4/10th-mile dirt oval for a $10,000-to-win race.
There also will be racing in Late Model, Crte Lake Model, Open Wheel Modified, Super Street, Pure Stock and U-Car divisions.
Admission prices for Saturday’s races will be $30 for the pits and $20 for the grandstands. Pits open at 4 p.m. and grandstands at 5 p.m. Practice is scheduled to begin about 6:30 p.m.
