Three triathlons were run over the weekend at White Lake. On Saturday the White Lake Spring Half was run with the men’s winner being Mark Corey from Chapel Hill. He had a time of 4:27:44. The women’s winner, with a time of 5:00:27, was Caroline Behne from Huntersville, N.C.
Also run on Saturday was the White Lake Spring International. The men’s winner was Tyler Pate of Charlotte with a time of 2:18:18. The woman’s winner, with a time of 2:30:05, was Jenna Chain from Wake Forest.
On Sunday the White Lake Spring Sprint took place with Eric Johnson of Cornelius, N.C. winning with a time of 1:10:54. The woman’ winner was Maryhelen Albright of Roanoke, Virginia with a time of 1:12:24.
