Ever wish it took less time to bake a cake? How does seven minutes sound? Below is a recipe for one such cake!
Chocolate Lava Cake
You will need:
- One Box Chocolate Cake Mix
- Ingredients for Mix
- One Tub Chocolate Frosting (NOT Whipped)
- Tupperware Stack Cooker
Combine ingredients for cake mix. Pour batter into the 3-quart casserole dish from your Stack Cooker. Dump entire tub of frosting into the middle, and spread a little bit of the batter across the top.
Put in the microwave, and start with 7 minutes. Add time as needed. The cake will begin to pull away from the side of the dish when done.
Allow cake to sit for 10 minutes. Run a knife or spatula around the outside edge of the cake. Place whatever platter you will be using to serve (I recommend one with high sides to prevent spillage) on top of the Stack Cooker, and carefully flip. Give the dish a little tap on the bottom, and slowly pull off of the cake.
And there you have it! A delicious lava cake in less than ten minutes, making it much easier to get dinner AND dessert ready in time for the family!
