This past Sunday, May 31st, was the perfect day for the 7th Annual St. James Hospitality Biker’s For Christ Fundraiser held at St. James AME church in Kelly, NC. According to the members, the non-profit group helps those less fortunate by assisting with electric bills and groceries when needed.

The fundraising event is held once a year and brings bikers from Wilmington, Fayetteville, Whiteville and Bladen County together for a great cause. This year, Evangelist Flecther Collins, also known as “Big Show”, spoke to the crowd about their mission and purpose. Some of the biker clubs in attendance were the Riding with Angels MC, Clean Cut Riders, Woodside Riders, CBR MC, Street Habits MC, Port City Wheelers. There were many other bike clubs and independent bikers in attendance, making up over 150 bikers to assist in the fundraising efforts.

Club President Glory Anders said our motto is, “If we can help someone along the way, our working will not be in vain.” Over $1,500 was raised for the non-profit.
