Get ready Florence is coming! Some technology tips.

– Back up everything and carry backups with you.

– Unplug all your computer/network equipment including printers.

– Get everything off the floor. Put on table tops.

– Cover and seal everything in trash bags. Make sure power is off.

– Shutdown servers. Cover them.

– If your business could flood – take your server with you.  Do not ever have your backup and server in the same place.

– Have a laptop and hotspot ready to use in case you have to take payments or lookup information. A battery pack of that can charge phones and laptops is recommended.

– Check your generator if you plan to use one. Get gas for generator.
