ELIZABETHTOWN – Freshman Milton Estrada fired in 2 goals to lead East Bladen to a 3-0 Three Rivers Conference jayvee men’s soccer victory Monday night over Whiteville.

Sophmore Jay McGill turned a pass from freshman Jay McKoy into the first Eagle goal. The East Bladen lead grew to 2-0 when Estrada converted a pass from freshman Will Hester into a goal.

Estrada’s second goal came after halftime and was set up by McKoy’s second assist of the game. Freshman Jacob Priest posted the shutout in goal for the Eagles and was credited with 4 saves.

“Reid (Potter) stepped up and had a great game,” said East Bladen Coach Jay Raynor. “Both Algozy brothers (Ebrahim and Sulamon) did extremely well in the midfield.”

The East Bladen jayvees are now 1-0 in league play and 3-0-1 overall. The Eagle jayvees will travel to Red Springs Wednesday for a 5 p.m. match.
