According to Valerie Newton, Public Information Officer of Bladen County schools, Bladenboro Primary School Bus #299 was involved in a accident at approximately 3:30 pm this afternoon. A small pickup truck rear-ended the bus after making a drop off. No students or other persons were injuried. The bus had 6 students on the bus transporting them home. Another bus was dispatched to the accident to finish the route or are being released by the school principal to their parents.
