Early voting continues for municipal office holders, and those who want to be.
Traveled across much of our great state Wednesday and enjoyed every mile from Bladen to Buncombe, through Charlotte, the states largest city. Brings back wonderful memories of days gone by. As I travel through a county, I think about folks I worked with before old age and retirement.
Road construction across the state is unbelievable, especially in the urban areas, and much needed I must add.
If you travel from Monroe to Charlotte, you know what I mean.
Trees in Buncombe County (Asheville) are more green than any other color and many trees are bare. No doubt high winds have stripped some, bet higher altitudes are much more colorful.
The travel is great, but the best part of the trip is heading home.
