CARY – West Bladen’s doubles team of Conner Brisson and Savannah Lee will open play Friday in the NCHSAA Class 2A State Tennis Tournament against the team from Greene Central, Taylor Williams and Hinson Britt.
Matches begin at 9 a.m. at the Cary Tennis Park at 2727 Louis Stephens Drive. Brisson and Lee, the Three Rivers Conference champions, finished fourth in the MidEast Regionals while Williams & Britt won the East Regional.
Sixteen doubles teams – the top four teams in each regional – will compete in the single-elimination tournament.
