Bladen County Health and Human Services Director, David Howard announced his resignation from the position earlier today. Greg Martin, Bladen County Manager, confirmed Howard has resigned from the county.
Howard said, “I have accepted an offer to serve as Assistant Health Director in New Hanover County.”
The reason Howard sited for leaving his position in the mother county is due to the long distance drive from his home. Howard does plan on taking some time off before starting his new position in New Hanover County.
Before Howard left he said, “I wish everyone only the best for growth, success, and health in the future!”
