Thoughts While ShavingEarly voting is underway and will continue for another week or so.  659 voters had cast a ballot as of close of day on Tuesday, April 24.

Off year elections (no presidential) tend to attract a smaller number of voters.  But a sheriff’s race usually ‘spurs’ a little extra interest.

Google Bladen County Board of Elections for early voting locations and hours of operations, and the hours vary at all sites.

Over 200 golfers will ‘tee it up’ today at The Vineyard golf course, near White Lake, in support of Bladen We Care fundraiser.  Full slate, always a fun event and lots of money raised to help local residents dealing with unplanned health issues in the form of one time grants, as well as other health related efforts.

Twitter and Facebook are issuing updates on the use of their social sites, in an effort to let users know more about how they can better control their own personal info.  For many long time users, the ‘cat has been out of the bag’ for a long time.

Grass, weeds and crops are beginning to show signs of springtime following the recent rains.
