Sheriff James A. McVicker announced the arrest today of Jasper McKenzie Munn, 18, of 261 Blue Moon Drive, Elizabethtown for the possession and sale of narcotics on the campus at East Bladen High School.

“Narcotics agents conducted an operation at East Bladen High School today and arrested and charged Munn with Possession With Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Vehicle For The Purpose of Keeping and Selling Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,” said McVicker.

Munn was booked into the Bladen County Detention Center under a $5,500.00 secured bond. He made bond and will have a first appearance hearing in Bladen County District Court on Monday, April 30.

“Students and parents need to know that we fight drug sales where and when we find them, McVicker said. “It is disappointing to know our children face the temptation of drugs while trying to get an education but that is sadly the case. We will continue to work closely with the schools to combat the sale of drugs in our schools.”
