Hard to believe, today is the last day of May 2018. It’s been a wet month, and a 70% chance of more rain today. National Weather Service forecast indicates a half to three quarters of an inch possible, plus another shower likely tonight.
More often than not, what sounds like something to good to be true, usually needs more research. Another reason to surround yourself with ‘smart folks’. Some times just have to confess, I ‘messed up’. And, as I grow older, seems to occur more often.
Some of my friends in the ‘berry business tell me blueberry pickin’ is underway, more hand pickin’ at this time than with machines.
Rode by a couple of schools recently and thought back to my early life, many, many years ago and how I could hardly wait for the last day of school to arrive. Some days must have been at least 40 hours long. Days seem to get shorter as years ‘add up’.
What’s on your ‘bucket’ list? Had a friend tell me about a helicopter ride recently, something that had been on his ‘to do’ list for a long time. He was well pleased, good ride.
Sometimes a little disappointment is easily overcome by a kind thought or a thank you for something you never dreamed would have a positive affect on someone else, something that occurred recently or years ago. Bet we all can think of someone we owe a kind word or good deed.
