Kayla Thompson, who is attempting to qualify for the LPGA tour in California, had a tough day Saturday in the 3rd round of the tourney. She shot a 7-over 79 to give her 230 (+14) for three rounds. The final round is scheduled for today, Sunday, August 26. Kayla is from Clarkton and is a graduate of West Bladen High and UNCW.
