Area Stars 13u (Team Hughes) traveled to Goldsboro October 19-21 for the 13U D2 Top Gun-USA Winter World Series. On Sunday, they defeated the Washington River Rats 11-10, to claim the Top Gun-USA Winter World Series 13U D2 title. In all, the Area Stars out scored their opponents 56-23 with a tournament record of 5-0.
