The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded its recall of children’s ibuprofen concentrated oral suspension 50 mg. The lots that have been recalled are reported to have higher levels of ibuprofen than labeled.

The FDA warns that infants may be more susceptible to the higher level of the ibuprofen and experience renal injuries. Other possible side effects include, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, and diarrhea.

The product was sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar stores.
