RIEGELWOOD – Columbus County defeated Bladen County 9-1 Saturday in the opening round of the Dixie Youth Baseball District 2 AAA (Minors) Tournament.
Conner Sykes belted a hit to lead the Bladen County hitters.
Bladen County will play at 7 p.m. Sunday in an elimination game against the loser of Saturday night’s Whiteville/South Columbus game.
