Bladen County Dixie Pre-Majors baseball team will play their first World Series game today. Opponent is Monroe, Louisiana, game time is 11 a.m. The game is being played in Sterlington, Louisiana … and plans are for it to be streamed live on Ispn.live. Not sure about a fee from the network. The Elizabethtown Minors All-Star team will travel to Ruston, Louisiana, about 50 miles from Sterlington, on Thursday for its World Series. A fundraiser is planned for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today (Saturday) at Leinwand Park. Food, music, fun … check Thursday’s Thoughts While Shaving for a more complete line-up of activities. Donations are still welcomed. Players, coaches and supporters welcome all.
