Odds & Ends owner, Mary McMillian

A new business, Odds & Ends, located at 501 Martin Luther King Junior Drive celebrated today with a Grand Opening. The owner, Ms. Mary McMillian opened her doors this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. offering furniture, home décor and more.

“I was born and raised in this town and I want to invest in it and bring some life into it,” Ms. McMillian said.

Bladen County Commissioner, Michael Cogdell explained his excitement for the new business during the Grand Opening.

Mr. Cogdell said, “We want to work together to revitalize this area with the county’s help.”

Mr. Cogdell and Ms. McMillian have more entrepreneurial plans to revitalize the whole area on Martin Luther King Junior Drive. But for now, the two were busy inviting the public to Ms. McMillians new business.

The hours may vary, but on Saturdays,. Odds & Ends will be open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
