ELIZABETHTOWN – Elizabethtown’s Lady Cougars clinched the Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer division championship Thursday with a 5-0 victory over Tar Heel.
Heidi Rebollar and Maria Medina Leal combined to score all the Elizabethtown goals as the Lady Cougars finished their season with a 9-1 record.
“Our 8th graders finished their middle school career strong,” said Elizabethtown Coach Amanda Allen. “That class included Heidi Rebollar, Zoe Smith, Arellia Lewis and Heavyn Smith.”
Tar Heel finished the season with a 5-5 record.
