CERRO GORDO – Tierra Braddy poured in 20 points to lead West Columbus to a 31-15 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls basketball victory over Tar Heel.
Tiannah Willis and Kiera Lewis drained 3-point shots for the Lady Panthers in the first half, and teammate Sheryln Martinez threw in a basket. Braddy sparked the Lady Warriors to a 13-8 first half lead with 10 points.
Lewis, Violet Allen and Leidi Zuniga tossed in a basket each in the second half for Tar Heel, and teammate Jahyrah Priest sank a free throw. Lewis led the Lady Panthers with 5 points.
Tar Heel will travel to Whiteville Central Thusday.
