Business Owner and Unity in the Community Event Organizer, Fletcher ”Big Show” Collins announced on Wednesday, May 26, 2020, the plans of a ”Stop The Violence Movement”. He stated there is a real pandemic black on black killings and shootings. The event is planned for June 13, 2020.

Elizabethtown Police Department confirmed they have been in contact with Collins about having the march and prayer movement event to help stop to the violence.

Collins stated he wanted to gather the community together after the march down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to have a prayer meeting they at the Green Acre Park in Elizabethtown.

He hopes the prayer meeting will lead to a round table discussion with leaders and community members. Pastors, ministers, doctors, citizens and, most of all, the ones deal with violence are all invited to attend.

Collins stated he hopes to reach people and help them understand that we have to work together and figure out what we need to do to stop the violence and help our community be a better place.
