East Bladen and North Carolina State star Larrell Murchison was moved to the Tennessee Titans Inactive List before Monday night’s season opener for the Titans.
The National Football League teams have 53 players on their roster, but only 46 are allowed to suit up on game day. Seven players must be declared “inactive” 90 minutes before kickoff. Sometimes the players don’t even know it until they get to the locker room and see that there is no uniform in their locker.
Murchison, a defensive tackle, is still on the Titans roster but was not eligible to play Monday night in Denver.
Tennessee beat Denver 15-14.
