After the coronavirus shutdown all of the usual summer sports activities – Dixie Youth Baseball, Recreation Softball and others, the Bladen County Parks and Recreation Department has announced registration has begun for baseball and softball and will continue through October 6th.
Baseball will be offered for ages 13-14 with the determining date for age being April 30, 2020. Registration fee is $35.
Girls softball will be offered for ages 5-7, 8-10, 11-12 and 13-16 with the determining date for age being January 1, 2020. Registration fee is $35.
Participants will be required to supply his or her personal helmet, glove and other personal equipment.
Online registration is preferred and the link is located at bladeninfo.org under the Parks and Recreation Department.
