The Bladen County Health and Human Services Agency released the daily COVID-19 update this afternoon. The fact is, COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is a real virus, that is spreading, and can be fatal. To help protect against the virus health officials advise, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, and wear a mask.
Today’s report has Bladen County COVID-19 positive cases at 906 with six hospitalized and 15 related deaths. On Monday, September 21, there were 12, COVID-19 related deaths reported by the health agency. A week later the county has reported an additional three related deaths.
The COVID-19 related deaths in the county are 68% male and 33% female. The age ranges for the deaths in Bladen County are as follows:
10 people 75 years old or older
3 people 65-74 years old
1 50-74 years old
1 25-49 years old
