The Bladen County Board of Elections will close filing for candidates for the upcoming municipal elections at noontime today (Friday). A few positions are left to be filled in order for all towns to have a full slate of officials for the November 3, 2015 election.
Actually, Tar Heel is the only town without a full slate with the deadline approaching. As of Thursday afternoon, no one had filed for Mayor and there were two vacant positions for Town Commissioner.
