Britt Sasser pitched a complete game 2-hitter and struck out 10 to lead the Black to a 17-1 victory over the Grey Tuesday night in the final game of Bladen Recreation’s 13-14 Baseball season at County Park.

Sasser walked 5 and hit 2 batters. Gavin Elks, Cole Butler, Nolan Tatum and Natoren Corbett shared the pitching duties for the Grey.

Darius Williamson circled the bases on 2 errors and a wild pitch to give the Black a 1-0 1st inning run for the Black. Chason Harris smacked a single to right field, and Andrew Musselwhite rapped a single to center in the Black 2nd inning. Williamson walloped a triple to left field that scored both Harris and Musselwhite for a 3-0 lead.

Corbett cracked a single to center field in the Grey 2nd inning. Xavier Spaulding was hit by a pitch, Kasey Nichols walked and Butler was hit by a pitch to force home Corbett. Elks belted a single in the 5th inning for the other Grey hit in the game.

The Black stretched their lead to 6-1 in the 3rd inning. Parker Greene was hit by a pitch, Hunter Hester reached base on an error, and Maison Brooks walked. All 3 of them scored as Harris reached on an error, and Musselwhite raked a single to left.

An 11-run Black 5th inning broke the game open. Brooks, Caison Brixey, Harris and Musselwhite all drew walks and scored runs. Williamson pounded a double to right field, and scored.

Tyreon Graham, Sasser, Greene, Hester, and Brooks all drew walks and scored runs. Musselwhite walked again in the inning and scored, and Williamson ripped a single to left and scored on Graham’s single.

Williamson batted 3-for-4 with a triple and a double to lead the Black hitters. Musselwhite finished 2-for-3 at the plate, and Graham and Harris added one hit each.
